Irony

Event:
0 _deaths_ from radioactivity after the Tsunami destroyed the Fukushima Nuclear power plant.

Result:
Germany decides to do accelerated decommissioning and shut downs of all its nuclear power. The world goes nuts about nuclear power in general.

Event:
44 _deaths_ from EHEC from ecological sprouts.

Result:
Nothing

Result if treated in the same way as the Japanese event:
Germany and the world bans all ecological farming.

The irony is that if the ecological produce had been subjected to radiation, (which is common when dealing with spices for instance), there would not have been any EHEC outbreak.
